CPR’s government relations advice helped client Dementia Australia (DA) to secure a $229M investment for quality dementia care in this year’s Federal Budget. Key aspects of the package include enhanced early support for people living with dementia in the community their families and carers. More support at diagnosis, dementia training throughout the sector, improvements in aged care regulation and a national screening register for all care sector workers.
CPR provided government relations support to DA throughout a six-month campaign, including advice around approach to government, key events and meetings, as well as staffing Dementia Australia CEO Maree McCabe in Canberra on Budget night.
